MAPLE VALLEY, WA — Three people were hospitalized following a serious crash along State Route 169 near Maple Valley on Wednesday morning, according to Q13 Fox.
Puget Sound Fire reported that the incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. Authorities responded to the scene in the 31000 block of Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road.
One of the three injured people was airlifted to the hospital.
The incident also caused damage to a utility pole, which had to be serviced before the road could re-open around 11:30 a.m. the same morning, according to WSDOT.
The Washington State Patrol is aiding the investigation.
