LONGVIEW, WA — Firefighters responded to a serious apartment fire in Longview late Sunday night that has displaced 16 people, according to KOMO News.

Longview Police & Fire says that upon arriving to a “chaotic” scene at 3858 Pennsylvania Street around 11:30 p.m., crews were able to control the fire after 20 minutes.

No one is reported injured, but at least four apartment units have sustained mild to significant damage.

Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents with temporary housing and aid.

Firefighters suspect that a candle caused the fire, but an investigation is still in progress.
