News: Injuries reported after loose tire strikes semi in Issaquah

ISSAQUAH, WA – The Washington State Patrol has reported injuries following a crash caused by a loose tire yesterday, according to Trooper Rick Johnson.

The incident occurred on westbound I-90 near E Sunset Way sometime before 6 p.m., when a tire fell off a travel trailer and struck a semi truck, cracking its fuel tank and causing diesel to spread across the roadway. Three vehicles subsequently slid off the roadway, including a van that collided with a tree.
