ISSAQUAH, WA – The Washington State Patrol has reported injuries following a crash caused by a loose tire yesterday, according to Trooper Rick Johnson.
So a spare tire came off a travel trailer and a semi hit it and a diesel tank was punctured. Three vehicles slid off the road to include this van. Minor injuries. This is WB 90 near Sunset in #Issaquah. pic.twitter.com/8oIsEI5EO9

The incident occurred on westbound I-90 near E Sunset Way sometime before 6 p.m., when a tire fell off a travel trailer and struck a semi truck, cracking its fuel tank and causing diesel to spread across the roadway. Three vehicles subsequently slid off the roadway, including a van that collided with a tree.
Fortunately, only minor injuries have been reported at this time.
