News: Update: Bicyclist identified in fatal collision near Seward Park

SEATTLE, WA – The cyclist killed in a hit-and-run crash near Seward Park on Sunday has been identified.

According to Fox 13 Seattle, 63-year-old Mile Colmant was struck shortly before 7 p.m. while riding on Seward Park Avenue South near the intersection with Wilson Avenue South.

The unidentified driver of a silver compact sedan struck Colmant head-on as they were traveling the wrong way in the northbound lanes of the road. They immediately fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Colmant was pronounced dead at the scene after bystanders attempted to perform life-saving measures on the man.
