REDONDO, WA – A suspect was taken into custody after attempting to flee troopers on I-5 in a stolen vehicle then crashing on Monday afternoon.
According to a tweet by WSP, the incident occurred at about 3 p.m. when the driver took the exit from I-5 to 272nd Street and rolled the vehicle.

The unidentified suspect then exited the pickup truck and attempted to flee on foot. They were eventually caught by troopers and taken into custody.
Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver sustained minor injuries as a result. No word on what changes they are facing at this time.
