SEATTLE, WA – A distracted driver is believed to be the cause of a single-vehicle collision in a south Seattle neighborhood.

According to the West Seattle Blog, the April 11th collision took place at the intersection of 35th Avenue and Findlay Street.

Responding officers say the driver was inattentive to the roadway when they struck the utility pole, fracturing the base and causing it to lean over. The vehicle then became wedged against the pole.

The unidentified driver was able to get out of the vehicle without sustaining any injuries as a result of the crash.
