SEATTLE, WA – Crews rescued a driver who was trapped in their vehicle after driving into a body of water in Seattle early Friday morning.
According to the Waterland Blog, rescue crews with the South King Fire Department responded to the scene at about 12:30 a.m. at the Redondo Boat Launch.
A rescue swimmer reached the vehicle and broke a window in order to free the occupant. The patient was pulled to shore and transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
It is still unclear how the individual’s vehicle ended up in the water.
