SEATTLE, WA – A motorcyclist was involved in a hit-and-run collision along I-5 on Monday afternoon.
According to a tweet by WSP, the collision took place at about 3 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5 at the Mercer Street exit.

Troopers say the driver cut across the gore point and struck the motorcyclist before immediately driving away from the scene.
Fortunately, the motorcyclist was not seriously injured as a result of the crash.
