TACOMA, WA – The driver of a pickup truck was taken into custody after colliding with a tractor-trailer last Thursday evening.
According to a tweet by the Tacoma Police Department, the incident took place at about 6 p.m. at the intersection of South 38th Street at South Fife Street.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear. However, photos from the scene depict a pickup crashed head-on into the container being pulled by the truck.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash. The driver of the pickup was arrested under suspicion of DUI.
