TACOMA, WA – Four teens were involved in a single-vehicle collision between Tacoma and Puyallup on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Tacoma News-Tribune, the accident took place at about 1:49 p.m. along Pioneer Way near the intersection with Stewart Avenue.
Deputies with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department say the 18-year-old driver of a Honda Accord struck another car before losing control of their vehicle and rolling into a utility pole.
One occupant in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two other passengers were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
