News: WSP investigating fatal motorcycle crash on SR-509 South in Seattle

SEATTLE, WA – Troopers with the Washington State Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal single-motorcycle crash on State Route 509 South in Seattle on Monday morning.

According to the official WSP Twitter account, responders arrived at the scene shortly before 8:10 a.m. and shut down the right two southbound lanes of the freeway.

After Trooper Rick Johnson arrived, two pictures of the scene were provided.

No further details regarding the cause of the accident have been released. We will update this blog if more pertinent details come to light.
