News Update: More info on fatal single-motorcycle crash on SR-509 in Burien

BURIEN, WA – According to a Washington State Patrol press memo, a driver was killed was killed in a single-motorcycle crash on State Route 509 in Burien on Monday morning.

The incident report stated the collision occurred around 7:21 a.m., just south of South 128th Street, when a southbound motorcyclist lost control and struck the right shoulder guardrail.

The rider, 26-year-old Allen Sutton of Bellingham, was ejected in the accident and died at the scene.

Following the crash, lanes one and two were temporarily shut down for about 2 hours.
