News: KCSO searching for hit-and-run driver that injured pedestrian in Maple Valley

MAPLE VALLEY, WA – The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run pedestrian collision in Maple Valley that left one person in the hospital last Tuesday night.

According to a tweet from the department, the accident occurred at the intersection of Southeast 237th Street and Maple Valley Black Diamond Road shortly after 9:30 p.m. The driver of the colliding vehicle fled the scene.

The victim, a 55-year-old man, was transported to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

As of Thursday night, the pedestrian remained hospitalized and authorities were still searching for the driver.
