SEATTLE, WA – A crash on southbound I-5 near SR-104 has been affecting traffic in the area since shortly before 7 a.m. today.
And after briefly stopping traffic, WSP has cleared these vehicles to the right shoulder. Those flashing lights could still slow folks down as they head on SB I-5 toward Shoreline. pic.twitter.com/fE6O37iKEW

The Washington State Department of Transportation first alerted motorists to the incident in a tweet sent at 6:55 a.m. on March 15. Stills taken from traffic-camera footage show two vehicles pulled into the HOV lane. Washington State Patrol units arrived at about 7 a.m. and seem to have moved the affected vehicles onto the right-hand shoulder, allowing traffic to proceed in the HOV lane. Fire trucks arrived by 7:35 a.m., suggesting the collision may have been serious.
