News: UPDATE: Cyclist airlifted to HMC in Seattle after crash in Suquamish

SUQUAMISH, WA – According to Suquamish police, the previously reported accident in Suquamish last Wednesday night involved a bicyclist who was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries.

The preliminary report stated that the accident occurred on Suquamish Way Northeast near the intersection with Northeast Wee Wun Way at around 7:30 p.m.

According to The Kitsap Sun, Suquamish Police Chief Mike Lasnier has released more details. The incident was a serious bicycle crash and did not involve a motor vehicle. The victim, an adult male, suffered significant injuries but was expected to recover and be released from HMC by Saturday.
