News: Two joggers injured in pedestrian collision in Bremerton

BREMERTON, WA – Troopers with the Washington State Patrol say two joggers were injured in a pedestrian accident in Bremerton on Saturday evening.

According to KIRO 7, the collision occurred on Northlake Way Northwest, close to the 6800 block of Kitsap Way, around 5:30 p.m.

Two joggers and a bicyclist were traveling in the shoulder when a southbound vehicle struck one of the joggers, causing serious injuries. The second jogger was struck by debris and sustained a minor injury. The bicyclist was not harmed.

Trooper Chelsea Hodgson said the first jogger was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle by helicopter transport. No updates on their condition have been provided.

Northlake Way NW was completely shut down while authorities investigated the scene.
