RENTON, WA – The Renton Police Department is investigating a hit and run collision that forced the victim vehicle to crash off the roadway and strike a power pole on Friday night.
The department’s official Twitter page stated the accident occurred at the intersection of Union Avenue Northeast and Northeast 12th Street at 7:35 p.m.
Just fyi, we are also investigating a hit & run accident that happened at 7:35 pm at Union Ave NE/NE 12th st. which caused victim vehicle to crash into power pole. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Authorities shut down Union Ave NE between NE 12th St and NE 11th St, though the roadway was expected to be reopened soon after.
