News: 2 dead, 4 injured when vehicle collides with barbershop

WENATCHEE, WA – A vehicle collided with a barbershop in Wenatchee last week, killing a passenger as well as a customer and injuring four others, NCW Life reports.

The collision was caused when the vehicle’s driver suffered a medical emergency at the intersection of Chelan Avenue and 2nd Street. His car to collided with another vehicle before slamming into The Ave Barber Shop, ultimately coming to rest within the storefront.

Passenger Colleen Johnson, 61, and barbershop customer Jesus Fausto-Curiel, 25, were killed in the collision. Both were residents of East Wenatchee.

Another man, identified only as a 23-year-old employee of the shop, was critically injured, and was taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. Three other people, including the driver, were less seriously hurt.
