TACOMA, WA – An 18-year-old driver was hospitalized with serious injuries following a train-vs-vehicle crash Monday night.
According to the Tacoma Police Department, officers and fire crews were at the scene within the 1700 block of Marine View Drive by 8:50 a.m.

This portion of Marine View Dr. was shut down until about 12:27 a.m., when the roadway was reopened after an investigation by the department’s collision team. Police also confirmed the victim was in serious, but stable, condition.
