SEATTLE, WA – Washington State Patrol say a crash led to a fatal pedestrian accident on Interstate 5 North in North Seattle on Sunday night, reports KIRO 7.

The incident began at about 7:20 p.m., when the driver of a Ford F-250 lost control of the vehicle and came to a stop in the middle northbound lane of I-5 near Northeast 130th Street. The truck’s headlights were off. A Honda Civic then rear-ended the Ford and ended up in front of the pickup.

The Civic’s driver was walking back to the Ford to investigate when he was struck by a northbound Jeep. He was declared deceased at the scene, and has been identified only as a 64-year-old resident of Pullman.
