News: Victim of November pedestrian accident in Bellingham dies at Harborview

SEATTLE, WA – Washington State Patrol reports that the victim of a Thanksgiving weekend pedestrian accident in Bellingham has now died from her injuries at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, reports KGMI.

Authorities identified the victim as 27-year-old Katrina Sampson of Bellingham. Sampson was struck and injured by a truck while she was walking along Slater Road on November 29th. The driver of the truck, 44-year-Joel Hansen of Ferndale, was unhurt.

The crash is being investigated by state troopers; it is currently unclear whether impairment contributed to the accident.
