News: Puget Sound Fire extricates motorist from overturned semi-truck

KENT, WA – A semi-truck driver was extricated from their vehicle by Puget Sound Fire after the semi overturned on 84th Avenue South near the South 224th Street intersection Tuesday morning, reports the Kent Reporter.

Officials say the semi-truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and caused temporary blockage of all lanes at the intersection of 84th Avenue South and South 224th.

At this time, it is unclear what events led to the semi-truck being overturned. We will update this blog if more details are made available.
