News: Pedestrian killed in fatal accident in Bellevue

BELLEVUE, WA –  A 92-year-old man was killed while trying to cross the road in the 16000 block of Northeast 8th Street in Bellevue Monday evening, reports KOMO News.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene by 5:30 p.m. They took the man to a nearby hospital, where he later died. His identity has not yet been released.

The driver who struck the pedestrian remained on the scene and cooperated with police. He said he did not see the man prior to the collision. No charges have been filed at this time.
