SEATTLE, WA – A police chase ended in dramatic fashion Saturday night, when the suspect ran a red light and crashed into a pair of parked cars near Judkins Park.

According to Q13 Fox, the pursuit began when Seattle police attempted to pull over a speeding driver in the Atlantic neighborhood. The driver whipped into oncoming traffic, ran through a red light, and plowed into two unoccupied cars parked nearby. He attempted to flee on foot, but police apprehended him.

The 47-year-old man was found to have a considerable amount of narcotics in his possession. He was treated at a local hospital and then transported to King County Jail on a number of charges, including DUI and possession of narcotics.

No one else was injured.
