SEATTLE, WA – A construction worker was taken to the hospital Monday after suffering an injury at a job site in Seattle’s Mount Baker neighborhood, KOMO News reports.

The incident happened at a private residence in the 3800 block of 39th Avenue South at approximately 11 a.m., when an old concrete stairway collapsed on top of the worker. Emergency responders freed the man following a “very technical” rescue operation, and took him to Harborview Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
