News: Bainbridge Island man airlifted to HMC following head-on crash on Hwy 305

SEATTLE, WA – A Bainbridge Island man is recovering at Harborview Medical Center after a head-on crash on Highway 305 near Poulsbo on Saturday, reports Bainbridge Island Review.

According to Washington State Patrol, 20-year-old Reece Quesada of Bainbridge Island was traveling southbound on Highway 305 near the Noll Road intersection when his vehicle crossed the centerline of the roadway and struck an oncoming car driven by 23-year-old Paige Billmaier of Bainbridge Island.

Officials say the crash occurred around 2:10 p.m. and totalled both of the involved vehicles.

Billmaier was not injured in the collision. Quesada was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center to receive treatment for his injuries. At this time, no further information on his condition is available.
