4 hospitalized following 3-vehicle collision in Carlsborg

CARLSBORG, WA – Four people, including one child, were transported to a local hospital with varying injuries following a three-car collision last Friday afternoon.

According to My Clallam County, The accident occurred at about p.m. at the intersection of Carlsborg Road and Highway 101.

Troopers say 23-year-old Justin Thompson-Peterson ran through a red light at the intersection and struck another vehicle driven by Samantha Grimes, 30. Grimes and two of her passengers, including one child, were transported to Olympic Medical Center to be treated for unknown injuries sustained in the crash.

Thompson-Peterson was airlifted to a Seattle hospital to be treated for serious injuries sustained in the crash. Charges are pending against him at this time.

A third vehicle driven by Chelsea Trevenen was involved in the crash. She was also taken to Olympic Medical Center in unknown condition.
