TUKWILA, WA – The motorcyclist who was killed in a Friday morning crash has been identified as 16-year-old Jonah L. Espinosa.

This is an update to this previous post.

According to the Kent Reporter, a 2006 Chevy Express collided with the rear end of a motorcycle on southbound I-405 near Highway 167 at around 3:53 a.m. Friday morning, wedging the two vehicles together. The driver of the van continued onto the southbound I-5 ramp, where the motorcyclist fell off. Identified only as a 54-year-old male from Snohomish, the van driver then continued driving for approximately 3 miles before he pulled over and called 911.

Local authorities arrested the driver for felony hit-and-run. The motorcyclist died at the crash scene.
