TACOMA, WA – Troopers with the Washington State Highway Patrol responded to a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck on I-5 Tuesday afternoon.
According to the official Twitter page of the WHP, the accident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5 just south of the State Route 512 overpass. Troopers at the scene say the collision involving multiple vehicles and a tractor-trailer left a pickup truck rolled on its side against a concrete median.

Officials have not released any information regarding injuries sustained in the crash at this time. However, motorists faced delays on I-5 in both directions throughout Tuesday evening’s rush-hour.
