SEA TAC, WA – A DUI suspect led police on a car chase along southbound I-5 that began Sunday afternoon after she collided with two vehicles and nearly hit two pedestrians.

According to King 5, the female suspect initially approached two men at a parking garage at International Boulevard and S. 178th Street, acting strangely and drinking from a Whiteclaw can. She proceeded to get in her car and drive in circles, colliding with two vehicles and nearly hitting a pair of pedestrians carrying luggage. At this point, numerous people called 911 to report her erratic driving.

A police officer tried to stop her but she refused to comply and instead pulled onto southbound I-5, precipitating the chase. She allegedly threw beer cans out of the vehicle and made lewd gestures at police.

The pursuit eventually ended near Fife, where she was arrested without further incident. She has since been booked into King County Jail.

No injuries have been reported. It is unknown at this time what charges the driver will face.
