BELLEVUE, WA – One person was hospitalized after a driver crashed into a Bellevue storefront Wednesday morning.
According to a tweet by Belleview PD, the accident occurred at about 10:48 a.m. within the 12800 block of Southeast 38th Street.
One person suffered a leg injury when a driver hit the gas pedal instead of the break in the 12800 blk SE 38th St. There’s some structural damage to the building. The driver was not injured. pic.twitter.com/r5E8stDMe9

Police believe the unidentified driver hit the acceleration instead of the brake and crashed into a support beam and outdoor table.
One person sustained a leg injury as a result of the crash. Their condition is unknown at this time. The driver involved was unhurt.
