News: Woman flees after vehicle slams into home in Federal Way

FEDERAL WAY, WA – According to KOMO News, a woman rolled out of her car shortly before it crashed into a home in Federal Way before fleeing the scene on Thursday evening.

Federal Way Police Cmdr. Kurt Schwan said the accident happened around 5 p.m. on the 27700 block of South 21st Place.

When officers arrived at the scene, they were told by witnesses that a female driver was in the car when it started to roll down a nearby hill. The woman reportedly jumped from the vehicle just before it crashed into a home’s garage, causing significant damage.

She then fled the scene on food and has not been found by police.

Fortunately, none of the residents of the home were injured.
