Macklemore involved in head-on crash with drunk driver

Any time you use the roads, you place your safety in the hands of other drivers. No matter how careful you are, you can’t control the actions of everyone else on the road. Drunk drivers create a hazard for all of us. Not even celebrities are immune from the dangers of drunk drivers.

On Friday night, local musician Macklemore became the most recent celebrity victim of a drunk driver when a pickup truck crossed the centerline on a Whidbey Island road and stuck the singer’s car head-on. Amazingly, Macklemore himself was not seriously injured, although at least one of his passengers suffered a cut to the head.
