Pedestrian hit by car, left with life-threatening injuries

Drivers have many responsibilities when they get behind the wheel of a car. They need to make sure they are following rules that apply to themselves, wearing their own seatbelt, for example. They also need to make sure they are following general traffic laws. This includes following posted speed limits and traffic control devices. Drivers also need to make sure their cars are in good working order. Finally, people need to make sure that they are careful of the other people on the road. This includes other drivers and pedestrians.

By taking these responsibilities seriously, drivers can avoid car accidents. However, many drivers just don’t take the necessary precautions to avoid serious accidents, and people are hurt as a result. Pedestrians are at a particularly high risk because they have so little protection against cars.

A recent Seattle incident proves this point. According to news reports, a pedestrian was seriously injured recently after he was hit by a car. Police say that the accident occurred while the man was trying to cross the street near the intersection of 26th Avenue and East Union Street. It was around 9:30 p.m. when the accident occurred.

While crossing, the man was hit by a 21-year-old driver who failed to yield to the pedestrian. Instead, the driver’s Ford Festival hit the pedestrian, causing life-threatening injuries. Following the accident, the pedestrian accident victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident and whether or not the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident. However, they do not believe the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs when the accident occurred.

Pedestrians have an uphill battle to fight following an accident. They need to make sure their legal rights are protected as they focus on their physical well-being.
