Intoxication suspected in accident that killed Seattle man

Driving in a car is routine for many Washington residents. It’s something that many people take for granted and may not even think about. But, it requires a lot of skill and attention to detail. When people idrive under the influence, they are unable to give the attention necessary to the task.

Driving under the influence is extremely dangerous. Even after a couple of drinks, a driver can cause a serious car accident, the results of which can be deadly.

Sadly, news reports claim that a recent deadly accident in Seattle likely involved drugs or alcohol. In this case, two cars were driving on State Route 10 near Cle Elum when the accident occurred. According to reports, the driver of the eastbound car, a 22-year-old man, swerved into the westbound lane. The driver of the westbound car tried to avoid the collision but was unsuccessful.

One of the occupants of the westbound car, a 54-year-old man, was killed on the scene. Three others were injured in the accident. Police claim that these injuries occurred despite the fact that all the parties were wearing seatbelts. They also claim that drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.

When a drunk or intoxicated driver causes a car accident, fatalities are a possibility. The victim’s family can be left to deal with the emotional pain and shock of suddenly losing a loved one. They may also have to deal with an influx of unexpected expenses and the loss of the person’s wages as a result of the fatal car accident. While a wrongful death suit cannot compensate a family for the loss they have suffered, it can help to ease the economic burden caused by the accident. In a suit, a family can recover lost wages, medical expenses, funeral costs and other damages.
