Seattle bus accident leaves woman unconscious

In large cities like Seattle, public transportation can be extremely important. Transit buses help to keep large numbers of cars and trucks off the road, reducing congestion. They also help people who cannot otherwise afford private transportation get from place to place. Without buses, people could be stranded.

However, these buses can be dangerous if bus drivers and their owners are not careful. Bus drivers need to be specially trained and understand how to maneuver a bus on busy city streets. Furthermore, bus companies need to maintain these large vehicles so that they work properly and do not pose a threat to riders or other cars and trucks on the roads. Hopefully, following these steps will help drivers avoid a bus accident.

In a recent case, a car and a transit bus collided in Seattle and left the driver of the car injured. According to reports, this accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. When police arrived, they found the car driver unconscious. Although the woman regained consciousness eventually, she still had to be taken to a local hospital. None of the passengers on the bus were injured in the accident.

From broken bones, to head trauma and more, those hurt in a bus accident can suffer serious injuries. It can take those injured weeks, months or years to recover. When these accidents occur, people need to determine whether bus driver negligence may have caused the accident.
