People often ask me what the process of a personal injury claim looks like. While each case is unique, and can involve unpredictable twists and turns, the basic process is the same in every case.

People also ask me what makes our firm different from some others they may have heard of. I believe what sets us apart is our commitment to build and maintain a personal relationship with each of our clients from the very first meeting until long after the conclusion of their claim.

To help illustrate what we do and how we help our clients, I’ve prepared a simple infographic. While there are plenty of lawyers who can gather information and negotiate with the insurance company, we are committed to providing a full suite of services to our clients, carefully guiding them through the claim process and making sure we are always attentive to their needs and concerns, all the way through trial if necessary.

I often tell clients that while getting money at the conclusion of your case is nice (and certainly important), perhaps equally important is that your attorney makes the process as easy and painless as possible. From our first meeting we listen to you. We need to know your goals and your expectations in order to do a good job representing you. We maintain regular communication with our clients and you can ALWAYS speak directly to your lawyer.

The “protective bubble” we create around our clients means you don’t have to speak with anyone other than us. We deal with your insurance and any other insurance that might apply to your claim. We make sure your bills are being properly processed and paid and if there’s something you need to do, we’ll let you know. We want our clients to focus on getting all the treatment they need and getting their lives back to normal.

Ultimately, our goal in every case is to build a life-long relationship with our client. We love what we do because of the people we get to know and help. We want every client to think of us as their family lawyers and look to us if they need any kind of legal help in the future. If we can’t help them ourselves, we probably know someone who can.

At the end of the day, the attorney-client relationship is just that – a relationship. Its the value we place on that relationship that drives everything we do.

If you have any questions, or if you just want to talk about the personal injury claims process, please give us a call. We’d love to hear from you.
